Teen Advisory Board
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) provides opportunities for DeKalb County teens (ages 14 to 18 years) to enhance their leadership skills and to make an impact in their community by planning and implementing a teen-related project or program. TAB members are required to attend and actively participate in monthly meetings. Members will receive volunteer hours for attendance.
Expectations of TAB members
- Regularly attend monthly meetings (dates coming soon) and notifying TAB Advisors via Slack or Pre-Meeting Survey when a meeting will be missed. (You will be required to attend at least one in-person meeting.)
- Actively participate in group discussions, willingly share ideas, and complete committee assignments.
- Act as a library ambassador, promoting reading, libraries, and library services.
Be an all-around role model of good teen behavior in all TAB meetings and in the community.
