Dr. Pearl A. McHaney, Kenneth M. England Professor of Southern Literature at Georgia State University, continues her lecture series on finding empathy in literature. The third lecture in this series focuses on the impact of gangs and bullies in literature, utilizing the work of S.E Hinton's The Outsiders, Sherman Alexie's Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian and R.J. Palacio's Wonder.
